You’re basically drinking fruit juice. I tried that diet. It didn’t do a thing for me. I could’ve blended those same fruits for a lot less than I paid in the store for the juice.
If you want a juice diet that really works, you have to do the juicing yourself and combine vegetables and fruits. I’ve done that with recipes from various juicing books. And it’s great. I lost 10 lbs in a week. It was just the motivation I needed to stick with the diet I was on after that. I’d used it to prepare my body for that.
The important thing to remember with a juice diet is that it’s a great way to start a diet. You don’t want to go without food for weeks on end. Juicing will help cleanse your body. But for real weight loss, the steady kind, you want a sensible diet using foods from all the food groups.
If you’ll notice, weight loss websites now encourage eating in addition to the replacement shakes you see in the stores.
And you exercise. Walk, run, do aerobics, dance. Whatever you enjoy and can stick with.
Have u tried reading “5 Factor Fitness”? Its written by a professional trainer who has trained one of the top most fitted celebrities like Halle Berry. I think it’s written by Harley Pasternak. I’ve seen him on the Tyra Banks show. His book gives recipes and even some smoothies and drinks that you can use. People who followed his routine gave good feedback. when they are making movies or doing daytime TV hey work 10 – 14 hours a day..they don’t have time to sit a round on the computer and chat..
and they don’t eat all kinds of fattening stuff on the movie set..because their trainers yell at them to eat right…ALSO they have MONEY $$$$$$ lots of money to hire trainers and health experts to have them exercise the exact way and eat the exact foods….where we do not..so even when we try to follow a diet that they say they are following..we fail..
OH well…..
just keep trying I guess…..one day we all just may succeed….

Oh c’mon! you wanna know what really makes it work? Money, which can get you great things such as liposuction, cosmetic surgery, gastric pipe whatever (starr jones and carnie wilson had it). Oh yes money is the answer. Have you seen Janet lately? Diet my a$$!. They probably do things to maintain the after effect, but the actual thing…….oh please!
they don’t have to work 8 hours a day…they are not too tired to exercise and there stomach won’t growl throughout the day in front of everybody if they skip a meal or two.

I’ve heard you primarily lose water weight. AND you shouldn’t continue on a diet like that for long as it can mess up your chemistry.
